I was feeling feverish a few days ago so I cooked up a soup for myself for #breakfast #brunch #lunch and #dinner of the next few days 🤓🤓🤓

Soak the pulses already hours before you are planning to cook. For my selection 1 hour was enough as I was going to cook the soup in a pressure cooker.

I gathered all the "hot stuff" I thought can work as fire against the flu 🔥

I gathered all the vegetables I like. I found some shrimp heads and mushrooms I saved in the deep freezer. I even added the steam of the broccoli. Nothing goes to waste in my kitchen 🤓...

In hot oil fry the cloves and bay leaves and cumin seeds. Add the onions garlic and the finely chopped ginger....

When a bit cooked add the soaked pulses. Fry a bit. Then add the spices and cook a bit without adding the water...

Add the vegetables and boiled hot water...

Add the dried herbs and close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook for 30-45 minutes
