Steps

Heat a pan,add 2 tbsp oil.Add onion,ginger,garlic,cashew nuts,cardemoms,green chillies and coriander leaves.Saute 2 minutes.

Take out,let it cool.Then grind to a smooth paste.Keep aside.

Heat a pan,add 3 tbsp oil.Add cumin seeds and bay leaf.Add kasmiri chilli powder(low flame).Add a little water,saute for few seconds.Add coriander powder.Saute for 1 minute,then add ground onion-tomato paste.

Add salt,saute for 1 minute.Add 1/2 cup water and cover the pan.Cook for 4-5minutes on medium heat.

Add peas,cook for 3-4minutes till peas are 50 %done.Add mushrooms.Cover and cook for 4-5minutes.

After 5 minutes,add chopped coriander leaves,sugar and garam masala.Put off heat,leave for 2 minutes.

Serve with roti/rice/parathe.
