My mom used to make this dessert for our family Christmas dinner every year, everyone loved it. Since she's no longer here, I have since picked up this delicious recipe and my family still loves it!!

My mom used to make this dessert for our family Christmas dinner every year, everyone loved it. Since she's no longer here, I have since picked up this delicious recipe and my family still loves it!!

In saucepan, mix together sour cream and heavy whipping cream until well blended, gradually add sugar, mix well and heat over medium heat just until warm and sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat.

In small bowl, add gelatin to 1/4 c cold water and let sit for 1 minute then microwave 35-45 seconds, stir and let sit another minute until dissolved. Stir into the sour cream/cream/sugar mixture.

In another bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy then gradually add vanilla and sour cream mixture just until blended.

Coat with cooking spray, a 4 cup mold or 6 dessert cups and pour in the mixture. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set.

Chop 1/2 pk strawberries into small pieces and mix with 1/4 c sugar and dash of lemon juice, mash just a few of the strawberry pieces against side of bowl and stir well to combine, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
