Steps

Soak rice + Dal for 30 minutes, then pressure cook by adding 3 cups water + salt. Let pressure release by its own.

In pan add little water, let it heat, then add jaggery.
Mix nicely and let jaggery melt. Give 3-4 times boil. - 3
Add boiled rice + Dal mixture and mix well, add cardamom powder + 2 tbsp melted ghee and cook with jaggery till mixture thickens a bit.

In another pan, add ghee, let it heat then add cloves + cashews + raisins and fry till cashews turn golden brown and then pour into the mixture and mix well.

Sweet Pongal is ready to serve.
