Delicious Chicken Shawarma 🤍

Marinate the chicken with yogurt, mixed spices, turmeric, grated garlic, orange juice, lemon juice, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour or, for best results, overnight.

Grill the chicken on a griddle or skillet until well browned on both sides and fully cooked. For a smoky flavor, place a lit piece of charcoal in a small cup with a little oil in the pan with the chicken, cover, and let the chicken absorb the smoke. Then slice the chicken breasts into thin shawarma-style strips.

In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, cucumber, and sliced chicken shawarma. Pour the tahini sauce over and mix well.

Take a piece of flatbread, add the chicken mixture and some French fries, wrap it tightly, and press it in a sandwich press until golden.
