Ingredients

4 servings
  • 200 gmpaneer, diced (any shape),
  • For Batter..
  • 1 cupbesan (adjustable),
  • 1/2 cuprice flour (optional),
  • 1/2 tspgarlic paste,
  • 1/2 tspginger paste,
  • to taste, Salt
  • 1 tspred chilli powder,
  • 1/2 tsphaldi powder,
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder,
  • 3green chilli chopped finely,
  • as required Some chopped dhania patta,
  • 1 tbspoil,
  • Pinchbaking powder,
  • as required Oil for frying,

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak paneer pcs in warm salty water, keep aside.

  2. 2

    Take a mixing bowl, add besan & all the other ingredients one by one except baking powder, mix well.

  3. 3

    Now add water slowly slowly, mix well, add baking powder. Whisk it nicely till smooth. Batter should be thick. Rest it for 1/2 hour.

  4. 4

    Strain paneer, keep aside.

  5. 5

    Take a wok, add good amount of oil, heat it.

  6. 6

    Moderate the flame, dip paneer pcs one by one, coat nicely. Drop in hot oil, deep fry it until light brown.

  7. 7

    Take out on an absorbent paper so that extra oil is absorbed.

  8. 8

    Plate it, serve it with some dip, Chutney or Sauce..
