Also fresh spinach is easily available in this season. You can buy it canned or fresh and eat it cooked or raw or add in other dishes while cooking.

Wash spinach well in water, drain completely and then chop it finely.

Heat oil in a nonstick pan and add garlic, chilli. Then add onions and saute. Then add turmeric and mix. Cover and cook for 1-2 mins till onions turn soft.

Then add chopped spinach, salt. Mix everything well and saute for another 2 mins.

Cover and cook for another 2-3 mins.
Spinach cooks quickly, so check in after 3 mins. Some moisture is released. Now keep stirring and cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes without lid. - 5
After the moisture evaporates, the sabzi will be ready. Switch off the gas and transfer sabzi into bowl.

Serve hot Palak Sabzi with chapatti or rice, dal.
