Ingredients

3/4 servings
  • 1Spinach /Palak bunch (washed and chopped)
  • 2 tspoil
  • 3Onions chopped
  • 10-12Garlic cloves crushed
  • 1large green Chili chopped
  • 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  • as per tasteSalt

Steps

    Wash spinach well in water, drain completely and then chop it finely.

    Heat oil in a nonstick pan and add garlic, chilli. Then add onions and saute. Then add turmeric and mix. Cover and cook for 1-2 mins till onions turn soft.

    Then add chopped spinach, salt. Mix everything well and saute for another 2 mins.

    Cover and cook for another 2-3 mins.
    Spinach cooks quickly, so check in after 3 mins. Some moisture is released. Now keep stirring and cook on high flame for 4-5 minutes without lid.

    After the moisture evaporates, the sabzi will be ready. Switch off the gas and transfer sabzi into bowl.

    Serve hot Palak Sabzi with chapatti or rice, dal.
