Matar Paneer
When you want to make both kids and adults happy, just make a paneer curry—add peas, and everyone enjoys it even more. Paneer is also very healthy and provides us with calcium, which is a great bonus.
Steps
- 1
Cut the paneer into small pieces and shell the peas.
- 2
Finely chop the tomatoes and onion.
- 3
Heat oil in a pan and fry 100 grams (about 3.5 oz) of the paneer pieces. Soak the fried paneer pieces in water.
- 4
Add butter to the remaining oil in the pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until slightly golden. Crush the garlic and finely chop the green chili, then add them to the pan.
- 5
Add all the dry spices and sauté briefly. Then add the chopped tomatoes.
- 6
Add a little water and cook well. Add the peas and heavy cream, stirring continuously. Add a little more water and the fried paneer pieces.
- 7
When the mixture comes to a boil, grate the remaining 50 grams (about 1.8 oz) of paneer and add it to the pan. Mix well, turn off the heat, garnish with garam masala, and cover.

Your delicious curry is ready. Serve hot with roti.
