This is one of the popular sweet dishes of Bengal. Prepared by boiling milk on low heat for a long time. It should have a thick consistency. A mouth watering sweet dish.

Take a heavy bottom pan. Pour the milk. Boil & let it simmer on low flame.

In this way as the milk cooks and cream (malai) forms on top, this cream is collected on the side of the pan to form layers of thicker clotted cream.

These cream layers are cut into smaller pieces & added into the thick reduced milk.

Add milk powder,sugar & crushed green cardamom. You can add nuts. Stir once more. Chill before serving.
