Making porridge oats doesn't ave to be complicated 😋. Here is my quick and easy way to make porridge. Add porridge oats to a pot.

Top with milk. I normally add milk just by eye. The best rule of thumb is to add enough milk to cover the oats.
👉 TOP TIP- remember porridge will absorb whatever liquid you add. Depending on your preference you might like "thick" oats, that are creamy and almost chewy when they cool. Or a loser version that is a creamy sauce texture. Experiment with how much liquid makes the best consistency you prefer

Turn your heat on high and stir. the porridge will coat incredibly quick as the milk warms up. Keep stirring until you reach the consistency you like and you can remove from the heat.
⏰ the photos show how quickly it thickens. Photo 1 is at 2 mins, Photo 2 is at 4 minutes and Photo 3 is finished as a thick creamy consistency.
👉 TOP TIP - If you make this and find that it is too thick for your taste, just just stir in a slash of extra milk at the end to loose it again to the thickness you prefer

🍯 Top with your sweetener of choice: For example - Honey, syrup, Jam, chocolate spread
