Delicious fresh fruit and cream tarts

For the shell, sieve together maida, baking powder and sugar. Add soft butter and knead maida till it binds itself.

Using chilled water little by little knead a semi soft dough. Do not over knead. Warp in cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes take out of the refrigerator and knead again. Now roll out small portions to a thickness of 1/4 inch.

Place the rolled out dough on tart shell and press it inside. Cut out the extra. Line all the tart shells like this.

Prick the dough with a tooth pick so that it doesn't swell up while baking. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 175 degree Celsius.

To make the glace boil water with sugar. Once boiled cook on low heat for 10 minutes. Add liquid glucose and cool. Whip the cream till soft peak consistency. Chop the fresh fruits.

Fill the tart shells only half with whipped cream using a piping bag. Add a spoon of strawberry topping. Now fill the tart shells with whipped cream till top.

Arrange the fresh fruits, I am using strawberry, kiwis and oranges. Brush the glaze on the fruits carefully. Place a mint leaf for garnish.

Refrigerate for some time and serve chilled. Enjoy this delicious desserts after a meal or during tea time. Never fails to impress.
