Afghani karahi is totally different from other karahis . I made it first time. Spices are less and no onion involved in it. So the gravy is less too. But it tastes delicious and I served with yogurt salad.

Afghani karahi is totally different from other karahis . I made it first time. Spices are less and no onion involved in it. So the gravy is less too. But it tastes delicious and I served with yogurt salad.

Wash your chicken properly. Boil the tomatoes, peel the skin and make a tomato purée

Pour oil in wok and heat it up. Start frying chicken.

When it turns the color put salt and ginger garlic and fry again for a min then add green chilies.

Fry chicken for a min with green chilies and then pour tomato purée.

Cook chicken in putee fir 5 mins. Make sure the flame should be high. Once the oil comes up, take whole cumin and crushed it with your palm. It gives amazing aroma of karahi.

And mix it. Then add whip yogurt, mix it and cook it for 4-5 mins.

Stir it continuously and when the yogurt water is going dried up add black pepper and garam masala.

Mix it well. Garnish with coriander, ginger and chilies.

Enjoy with garma garam roti and yogurt salad.
