Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) is a root vegetable also known as red beet, table beet, garden beet, or just beet.

Steps

First wash, peel and cut slices of beetroot.

In pan add oil slice onin, cumin seeds and ginger garlic paste saute it for 2 min then add all spices and tomato pieces cook till tomatoes tender and oil separates.

Then add beetroot slices and fry in masala for 4 min then add 2 cups water and cover the lid cook on slow flame till beetroot tender.

Now keep the flame high and cook till oil separates garnish with green chillies and coriander leaves..

Enjoy hot with rotti or chawal
