Take 1 tbsp oil in a kadai, heat it. Add 1 tbsp mustard seeds, when it splutters add chana dal, urd dal, green chilies chopped, ginger grated.

Fry till the raw smell of ginger goes. Then add 1 cup sooji. Fry till light brown. Add 1 cup buttermilk and 1 cup water. Add salt to taste. Cook till done.
