Figs are the most relished Fruit in my family. And I love it even more because of the fact that this was one of the most loved eatables of our last Prophet Muhammed (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam).
Just for this one reason, I love this super awesome Fruit even more.

And coming to the amazing benefits of it, there are umpteen number of them. They are the powerhouses of nutrition. These are the good source of Potassium and Calcium. These Minerals can work together to improve bone density which in turn prevents Osteoporosis. It's good even in it's dried form. It's antioxidants content can help control Blood Pressure and digestion. It aids in weight loss too. Vitamins A and C both are in abundance in this Fruit.

All in all, a great option for healthy eating. If they are available in fresh form to you, make it a point to choose them over. 2-3 Figs can be relished on a daily basis.

Lots of this beautiful Fruit can be relished in Juices, Smoothies, Overnight Oats, Desserts, Ice-creams etc.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
