Shahi Tukde is a classic dessert enjoyed most during EID. With mangoes in season I chose to make a Mango one. Let’s dig!
Steps

For Mango Shahi Tukde - wash, peel and cut mango cubes, add to blender and make a purée. Set aside.

In a wok add milk, sugar and bring it to boil, stir on high flame until boiling comes, add cardamom powder, salt and keep stirring until reduces to 1 cup, set aside to cool completely.

Add the mango purée to it and mix well, set aside

For syrup - in a wok add water and sugar and bring it to boil. Stir to dissolve sugar and once syrup is thick, set aside and cool.

Take bread slices and cut the edges, cut diagonally.

In a wok heat ghee and add 2 slices of bread and on medium flame fry until golden in colour. Set aside

Dip the fried bread into sugar syrup and keep it for 2 mins to get the fried bread soaked in

Chop pistachios and almonds

On a serving plate place the breads and drizzle the mango milk mix, garnish with chopped pistachios and almonds. Garnish with warq and enjoy a classic dessert with a twist
