Ingredients

15mins
  1. 1 cuprice flour/ground rice
  2. 2 1/2 cupmilk
  3. 1/2 cupsugar
  4. 1 tspvanilla extract
  5. 2 tbspbutter/ghee
  6. 1/2 cupdessicated coconut

Cooking Instructions

15mins
  1. 1

Roast rice flour/ground rice over low heat until fragrant and slightly browned (optional).

  2. 2

    Leave to cool.

  3. 3

Melt butter/ghee in a pan, add sugar, vanilla and milk. Stir well.

  4. 4

When the milk is hot (not boiling) add the flour gradually and stir continuously until mixture forms a soft dough.

  5. 5

When the dough has absorbed all moisture and no longer sticks to the pan remove from heat and let cool for 2-3 mins.

  6. 6

Oil your hands a little(this is optional, only do this if mixture sticks to your hands) take a piece of dough and roll between your palms to shape it into balls.
Alternately you can use a tablespoon to measure the dough, roll between your palms and make same size balls.

  7. 7

Now roll the balls into the dessicated coconut and then it's done.

  8. 8

Enjoy with a nice cup of tea! 😋😋
