1 cupmakhana(fox nuts or lotus seeds)
2 tbspghee or butter
1lit milk
2 tbspsugar or as per your taste
1/2 tspcardamom powder
1 tbspcashews
1 tbspalmonds
2 tbsppistachios
7-8 strandssaffron

First roast makhana by adding some ghee

Roast till it becomes crispy

Now coarsely grind makhana

Take a heavy bottom pan

Pour milk

Start boiling

Add makhana powder and dry fruits powder, saffron and sugar

Boil till it becomes thick

Add cardamom powder

Switch off the flame

Creamy Makhana kheer is ready

Garnish with chopped dry fruits

You can serve it hot or cold, both ways it tastes really delightful
