I got bored with cooking normal rice. I wanted to try something different. I think this is similar to Brazilian style rice but can’t tell truth😂 The taste is just good.

720 ccJapanese rice (4合)
720 ccwater
2 clovesgarlic
2bay leaves
2 tbspolive oil
1-2 pinchsalt
Need a pressure cooker

Rinse rice and drain water a few times

Soak rice in water in a pot for pressure cooker

Mince garlic cloves

Heat a pan with olive oil and then fry minced garlic slowly until fragrant with low heat

(You can skip this step but we had some left from chicken wings today so I fried them with garlic and used for cooking rice to get more flavour and not to waste them)

Add the oil and cooked garlic to the pot and put bay leaves and a few pinch of salt.

Press start button on your pressure cooker and wait.

Once it’s cooked. Serve it on a bowl or a plate. If you want more taste, add salt and black peppers. They go quite well with the rice😋
