Ingredients

five servings
  • 1.5 cupkaju (cashew nuts)
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1 tspghee
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • As RequiredSilver verk
  • 1 teaspoonpowered green cardamon

Steps

    Take 1.5 cup cashew nuts and blend them using a blender, make sure you don't grind them too much as the powder is coarse. Using a since, extract the fine powder and keep it aside.

    Now heat a pan over medium flame and water along with sugar, keep stirring till the sugar starts dissolving once the blend starts boiling, reduce the flame and add fine cashew nut powder. Keep stirring and make sure the blend is smooth and has a slightly thick consistency. If you fold in ghee add some to this mixture this will add a nice taste and aroma to this dish keep stirring and add cardamom powder once this mixture is thick enough, turn off the flame and keep it aside.

    Transfer the Kaju Kati mixture to a bowl and knead it onto a fine smooth dough. Make sure that kaju kati Dough is smooth and cracked free, take a tray and grease it with ghee then transfer the sweet dough and flatten it using a rolling pin, apply the sliver bark and let it set for some time.

  4. 4

    How cut the kaju kati in the classic diamond shape and impress your loved ounces with this delicious sweet to accentuate the taste. You can also rose water while making the kaju kati blend. this will also your bafis rice aroma.
