Kali Malka daal with rice

Wash and soak rice and dal separately for nearly 10 minutes or more.

Keep 3 cups of water to boil. Add soaked rice and cover and cook till the rice is soft and tender. Once done switch off the flame.

In pressure cooker add dal with 4 cups of water turmeric and salt for about 3 whistles on medium flame.
Let the pressure drop itself and then open the lid. - 4
Take one pan and heat desi ghee then add jeera, Hing, onion, and fry for 2-3minutes. Add tomato. Then add red and green chili and put the flame off. Pour the mixture into the daal.

Serve daal with rice.
