Ingredients

Serves 3 servings
  • 1 cupsprouted chickpeas (about 150 grams)
  • 1small onion, finely chopped
  • 1small tomato, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoonsgrated carrot
  • 2-3 tablespoonsgrated beetroot
  • 2-3 tablespoonsgrated ginger
  • 2-3 tablespoonsfinely chopped green chili
  • 2-3 tablespoonslemon juice
  • 2-3 tablespoonsfinely chopped bell pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoonsdalmoth (spicy fried lentil snack)
  • 1 cupmixed snack mix (like sev or Indian snack mix, about 50 grams)
  • Black salt, to taste
  • 1 tablespoonchaat masala
  • 1/2 teaspoonregular salt
  • 1/2 teaspoonlavan bhaskar churna (optional, or skip if unavailable)
  • 1 cupcrushed chickpea snack (chana chur, about 50 grams)
  • Finely chopped cilantro, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    First, gather all the ingredients. To make sprouts, soak the chickpeas, then tie them in a cotton cloth and hang until sprouted.

    In a large bowl, add each ingredient one by one. Add the dry ingredients last and mix well.

  3. 3

    Transfer to a serving plate. If you like, top with yogurt before serving.
