Pithala is a very famous Maharashtrian dish. This gram flour dish is as nutritious as it is tasty. Chickpea flour is used as the main ingredient to make Pithala which is very nutritious for the body. Apart from this, Dhecha (a paste of crushed green chillies and garlic) is also added to it to enhance its taste and aroma. Pithala is usually served with bhakhar in Maharashtra.
