Take a bowl and add all dry ingredients. Mix well. Add water and mix to avoid the lumps. Make a smooth batter. Cover it and leave for 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes, mix the batter once more.

Heat a non-stick tawa and wipe it with water. Pour the batter and spread the center of the tawa. Let it cook. Apply ghee on the edges. Cook it for 1/2 minutes. Flip it. Cook it on both sides till light brown.

Chilla is ready. Turn off the heat. Take it out on a plate. Serve hot with khatti-meethi sauth, tomato ketchup and green chutney and enjoy.
