This is very different chaat then the regular chaat we make....
Steps

Soak chickpeas with baking powder for 1 hour.

Boil, peel and dice potatoes.

Boil chickpeas till tender.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add in cumin and ginger garlic and saute for minutes.

Add in gram flour and fry till nice aroma comes, it turns golden in colour and rawness goes away.

Add in chickpeas and water and cook till gravy thickens.

Heat oil in another pan.

Add in chilli powder,salt and turmeric and fry for few seconds.

Add in potatoes and mix.do not cook the potatoes.

Put chickpeas in a bowl.

Put potatoes over it.

Add in tamarind, chaat masala, mint and both the onions.

Serve straight away.
