I had been getting food boxes from a local church & going to our local soup kitchen. I had quite a few loaves of Italian bread to use up! I also was given a giant bag of shredded white cheddar cheese with bacon. Preheat oven to 375°. Grease cookie sheet and lay bread slices out evenly on the sheet.

Begin by spreading butter generously on each slice of bread. Then evenly top each slice with a thin layer of each seasoning.

Next, cover each slice generously with shredded cheese and bacon mixture.

Finally, top with fresh chopped basil & green onion. Place into oven for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and toast is browned to your desired preference. Enjoy!
