Its fara, chausela, gulgula, chilla, muthia, dubki kadhi, khurmi, bafauri, etc is very much famous dishes.
Chausela : Puri/ Lucchi/ Poori is the part of Indian thali. The Chhattisgarhiya version of Poori is Chausela that is made of rice flour. This crispy, soft and tasty snack is perfect with both tea and sabzi.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cuprice flour
  2. 1 tspcarrom seeds
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water as required
  5. Oil for deep fry
  6. Serving: potato subji

Cooking Instructions

    Boil water add salt and carrom seeds. Let it boil. Now seive the flour and add in it and mix it well with spin or any spatula.

    Transfer in a big plate and kneed it well. Form big balls and roll it to a big size roti. For perfect shape cut it using cookie cutter ir catori. Put them in a plate.

    Put a wok on heat adding oil in it to heat. As its hot deep fry all the puri one by one on medium flame.

    Our chausela is ready to serve. It goesvery well with tea/coffee and achar. But traditionally its served with aloo subji.
