Appam is a type of pancake, originating from South India, made with fermented rice batter and coconut milk, common in Kerala Tamil Nadu and many other southern states in India.It is eaten most frequently for breakfast or dinner.
Steps

Soak rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds for 4-5 hours.

Grind the soaked ingredients and cooked rice until smooth consistency then add salt mix it well and keep aside. Let it ferment overnight.

Take 1 cup of appam batter and add little water mix it well. make the batter like water consistency.

Keep an appam pan on medium heat and pour the Appam batter on it. Spread it in a circular motion and give the shape of an appam.

Once appam is ready serve appam with coconut milk, sambar, chutney, etc.
