Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 1 cupboiled sweet corn
  • 1 medium sized finally chopped onion
  • 2-3 medium sizedfinally chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoonscashew paste/kaju paste
  • 1 tablespooncumin seeds
  • 1/2 tablespoonturmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoonred chili powder/kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tablespooncoriander powder
  • 1/2 tablespoongaram masala powder
  • As Per TasteSalt to taste
  • 1 tablespoonkasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
  • 2 tablespoonsOil
  • 1 1/2 cupwater

Steps

    Firstly, heat 2 tbsp oil and saute cumin seeds till they turn aromatic.

  2. 2

    Now add 1 onion and 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes away.

  3. 3

    Additionally, add 3 tomatoes and saute till they turn soft and mushy.

  4. 4

    Furthermore, add spices and salt.

  5. 5

    Saute on low flame till the spices get cooked completely.

  6. 6

    Now add ¼ cup cashew paste and stir well.

  7. 7

    Further, add 1 cup boiled sweet corn and 1 1/2 cup water.

  8. 8

    Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.

  9. 9

    1/2 tbsp garam masala, 1 tbsp Kasuri methi. mix well.

  10. 10

    Finally, serve corn curry makhani recipe with roti, naan, kulcha, or chapati.
