Ingredients

45 minutes
4 people
  • 11/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoonssemolina
  • 2 teaspoonsghee
  • As RequiredWater
  • 1 cupdesiccated coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoonssugar
  • 1 teaspoonscardamom powder
  • As RequiredOil for frying

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl take all-purpose flour, and semolina n pour tbsp hot ghee and mix well.

  2. 2

    Add water and make a soft dough. Cover it with cloth and leave it for 10 mins.

  3. 3

    In another bowl mix desiccated coconut, sugar, and cardamom powder mix well.

  4. 4

    Take a pan put oil let it get warm

  5. 5

    After 10 mins make small dough n roll it

  6. 6

    Add stuffing in the center and take all edges together upside and give the shape of modak.

  7. 7

    Dry them on medium flame till change to golden brown

  8. 8

    Your yummy fried modak is ready to Serve.
