અમદાવાદ

Churma is a popular sweet dish from India. It is made from whole wheat flour, ghee, and sugar. The method for making churma can vary by region, but the main ingredients remain the same: whole wheat flour, ghee, and sugar. In Rajasthan, churma is made from bati. Bati is made from whole wheat flour and is baked or cooked in a tandoor. It is eaten with dal, and churma is served alongside. Dal-bati and churma is a classic combination. Bati churma can be made in two ways: one is to coarsely grind the bati and mix it with ghee and sugar, and the other is to roast the coarsely ground bati in ghee, then add sugar and dry fruits before serving.

  2. 2

Shape the dough into balls about the size of a lemon. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn all the bati over to ensure even baking.
