Boil the beef in water for 20mins until tender. Put onions in another sufuria and add oil. Fry until slightly translucent then add hoho. Fry for a few mins then add the beef. After they are well mixed add tomatoes and cover with a lid. After 4mins mix everything together and add salt, mix well then add the beef broth and let it boil kidogo.

For the mchicha, wash well. Fry onion until browned then add the mchicha. Sprinkle salt and mix well.
Let it simmer for a few minutes then set aside. - 3
Put the 2½ cups of water to boil then prepare your ugali. Serve with the mchicha and beef. I prefer mine with pilipili.
