Take a clay tawa, then add the dry red chilli, add asafoetida,add black pepper,add chana dal,add coriander seeds,add curry leaves,add cumin seeds,add urad dal,add tovar dal,add methi dana,add turmericpowder. now dry roast to all the ingredients for 2-3 mins.And put into the jar and grind it and make a smooth powder, like this. Sambhar masala is ready.
