A very easy and yummy dish that is guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds. It's not only yummy but also very easy to prepare. Soya is liked by everyone and almost every other dish can be made with this versatile Vegetarian meat. And in this particular one, I have tried to merge it with Rice to make a beautiful Pulao. It looks ravishing and tastes equally great. Easiest recipe ever, this is sheer awesomeness.
I love to cook this on any given day. It can be done pretty much quickly too. Does not require a lot of ingredients as well. It doesn't even require a lot of Vegetables too. With Onions and Tomatoes, you are almost done.
I always love this one. Flavourful and delicious. It makes my day actually. My family loves it too. And I think that's the most beautiful part of all. Enjoy!

Steps
- 1
Heat oil or ghee in a cooking pot, add bay leaves and cumin seeds. Next add, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and cinnamon. If adding red onions, add now and saute well until light golden brown in colour on a low heat. Also add the tomatoes now. Cook until soft and mushy.
- 2
If not adding onions, then add chopped spring onion greens. Add the green chillies now or make a paste of it and then add. Add red chilli powder too and adjust salt according to taste.
- 3
Now finally add the soya chunks. Mix well. Cover and cook on a low to medium high heat. Let it cook for a good 8-10 minutes. (Boil soya chunks in enough water with a little salt. Drain and squeeze well so that it's absolutely dry) Next add the rice.
- 4
Cover and simmer on a low heat for 10 minutes until it is heated up nicely. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala. Keep it covered until ready to serve. Yum!
