Ingredients

3-4 servings
  • 2 cupsoaked sago
  • 1 cupboiled mashed potato
  • 1/2 cuproasted and coursly crushed peanuts
  • 1 tspGreen chilli paste
  • 1 tspLemon juice
  • 1 tspSugar
  • 1 tbspChopped coriander
  • 1 tspGrated ginger
  • as requiredSalt to taste
  • 5 tbspOil for deep frying

  1. 1

    Combine all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
    Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) diameter flat round.

  2. 2

    Keep aside.Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry the wadas on a medium flame till they turn brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.

  3. 3

    Arrange vadas on a serving dish and top with half the sweetened curd mixture.Top with a little chilli powder, a little cumin seeds powder and black salt.
