Terrace Chicken Barbeque

#cookpadindia
We had recently organized a yummy Barbeque party for our relatives. Now, this is what I call having a blast on the terrace. Actually, it was planned as a surprise to them. And cool and windy weather added a bonus to it. It went off extremely well and was a great evening spent with the family. In this particular Barbeque, I have used Sumac powder and Olive Oil exclusively thereby giving an authentic touch to the Middle Eastern or Mediterranean style of Grilling.
I haven't used Lemon juice in the marinade nor any Tandoori or Tikka Masalas. The beautiful colour is because of the Middle Eastern Herb Sumac. It is tangy and absolutely flavourful too. I have already shared quite a number of innovative recipes using it. It's easily available on Amazon India and I guess many other famous hypermarkets like Big Basket, More Superstores, Ratnadeep and Reliance.
Happy Barbeque Time!

Steps
- 1
Marinate Chicken with all the ingredients mentioned and leave it refrigerated overnight for best results including the Oil. I have used whole Chicken thighs and breast pieces here as you all can very well see in the picture.
- 2
The next day, it's all ready for a lovely barbecue. Arrange them on the Charcoal Barbecue Grill. Baste with Olive Oil as required. Allow it to grill on both sides and keep turning and changing sides as required.
- 3
Sumac Herb used in this gives it a lovely color. Do it in batches of 2 or 3 depending upon the size of the Charcoal Barbecue Grill being used. That's it. Also grill some Vegetables for Salad like sliced Capsicums, Tomatoes, and Onions to go along with it. Enjoy!
