Ingredients

16 ounces
  1. 2 tablespoonsoil
  2. 1/2small onion, rough diced
  3. 3 clovesgarlic, crushed
  4. 1habanero pepper, rough chopped
  5. 1/4 teaspoonoregano
  6. 1/4 teaspoonchili powder
  7. 1large tomato, rough chopped
  8. 1 1/2 cupwater
  9. Kosher Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Heat oil over medium heat and a 1 quart saucepan. Once hot, add onions and add a pinch of salt

  2. 2

    Add garlic and spice and mix till combined

  3. 3

    Add tomatoes, water, and pinch of salt and stir to combine

  4. 4

    Bring to a boil and blend with an immersion blender

  5. 5

    Simmer till it reduces down by ~25%
