Steps
- 1
First, remove leaves from the raddish. Wash leaves properly. Chop it.
- 2
For tempering, heat a pan. Add oil. When it gets heated, add mustard seeds. When mustard seeds splutter, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, green chili, and garlic. Saute for a minute.
- 3
Add onion. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes till it turns golden pink.
- 4
Add turmeric powder. Saute for another minute.
- 5
Add raddish leaves. Mix it. Add crushed peanut powder. You may add grated coconut here instead of peanut powder.
- 6
Cook for 2 minutes. Don't cook dry leafy vegetables too much. Cook it by covering the lid.
- 7
Turn off the gas. After cooling down of sabzi, add salt. Green leafy vegetables require very less salt.
- 8
It goes very tasty with jowar bhakri or any other millet bhakri or chapati or as a side dish with dal rice.
