Ingredients

  • 1 cupyellow moong daal
  • 1/4 cuprice (any)
  • 1 tbsp chhoped spinach
  • 1 tbsp chhoped fresh fenugreek leaves
  • 2 tbsp chhoped spring onions
  • 1 tbsp chhoped capsicum
  • 1 tbsp chhoped carrots
  • 1 tbsp chhoped cabbage
  • 1 tbsp chhoped beans
  • 1chopped green chilli
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 2 tbsptabspoon ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  • 31/2 cup/as needed water
  • as requiredSalt
  • as neededRed chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • someChhoped green coriander
  • someChhoped mint

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash soak moong dal and rice for 1/2 an hour.
    Get ready all ingredients
    Chhoped all veggies tometoes

    Heat up ghee in presser cooker add cumin seeds assofodeta soaked and drain rice and dal from water add spices

    Cook for 2 min. add all veggies mix well all together.Add water let be boil after 1 boil simmer for 2-3 min. Let be 2 whistle

    When presser cooker get completely cool open lid check the veggies are completely cooked stir well add green coriander leaves and mint leaves chopped.

  5. 5

    Your easy tasty healthy Kathiyawadi khichdi is ready to serve.
    Serve hot or warm with roasted papad pickle salad or curd kadhi.
