Chicken Shrimp Wonton Soup

Wontons are a traditional Chinese food made from dough rolled into thin sheets like skins. These wonton skins are then filled with various meats or vegetables. In China, wontons are usually steamed and served with broth.
To celebrate the rainy season, I chose this simple and delicious menu as today's kitchen story, inspired by a recipe from @ursula with a few modifications and my own style of broth. It's perfect for a rainy day in Batam 😋.

Steps
- 1
First, prepare the wonton wrappers. This time, I bought them at the market for convenience. For homemade wrappers, I have included a link to the recipe.
- 2
For the filling, mix all the ingredients, adding the tapioca starch gradually. Mix well and set aside.
- 3
For my version of the broth: Sauté the garlic until fragrant, add water, shrimp heads, sesame oil, salt, sugar, pepper, and broth powder. Bring the water to a boil. Strain and discard the shrimp heads. Adjust the seasoning.
- 4
Take a wrapper, add 1 tablespoon of filling. Moisten the edges with water, then fold as desired. Place into the broth.
- 5
Boil until they float. Serve hot with sliced green onions.
