This particular one is an amazing treat on any day. With Chocolate, this Halwa gets an altogether lovely looks as well as the flavour.
This simple yet flavourful and aromatic Dessert is a dish to reckon with.
You can even use any Chocolate of your choice.
I preferred using Amul Compound (18% Cocoa solids) Chocolate in this.
Nothing much complicated. Simple and easily done in just a few minutes without any hassles or difficulty.
If pre roasted Semolina is used, your half job is already done. It's absolutely an excellent Dessert to be whipped up anytime you crave for something sweet.
It's that easy. It doesn't require many fancy ingredients too and henceforth an awesome Dessert in all.

Steps
- 1
Add Ghee to a pan or a Kadai. Fry Raisins and Almonds until light brown in colour.
- 2
Remove them onto a plate and keep aside until use. To the same Ghee, add Compound Chocolate. Allow it to melt on a low heat. Add Sugar and Cardamom powder now.
- 3
Keep the heat always on a low. Also add about one cup each of water and Milk. After it is heated up, add the roasted Suji or Semolina. Mix well. Cover and cook until all the water is absorbed and it's quite soft and has a beautiful lustre or shine. Keep stirring every now and then. Add a tablespoon more of Ghee to it if required. That's it. Sugar can be adjusted according to one's own taste.
- 4
And when the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan, switch off the gas. Enjoy this awesome Chocolaty Suji Halwa either warm or cold. Yum!
