To make the Cheese-Stuffed Meatballs:
Bring 3 cups water (about 700 ml) to a boil in a deep skillet. Crush half a garlic clove with salt using a mortar and pestle. - 2
Mash the ground beef and mix it with the crushed garlic and salt to form meatballs.

Boil the 8 tomatoes for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, crush cumin and black pepper in the mortar and pestle.

Blend the boiled tomatoes with 3 slices of onion and salt. Once blended, pour the tomato mixture over the meatballs, stir well, add cilantro, and let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, sprinkle with shredded cheese, cover, and let the cheese melt with the steam.

To make the Mashed Potatoes:
Bring water to a boil with 1 clove garlic and a little salt. - 6
Peel and dice the 5 potatoes. Once the water is boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 30 minutes.

Drain the potatoes, then mash them. Add 1 stick of butter (about 1/2 cup or 113 grams), mix and mash until smooth and flavorful. Add black pepper to taste.

To make the Cheesy Spaghetti:
Bring 8 1/2 cups water (2 liters) to a boil with 1 clove garlic and salt to taste. - 9
Once boiling, add the spaghetti and cook for 12 minutes.

Drain the spaghetti, remove the garlic, and return the pasta to the pot. Add half of a 3 oz stick of butter (about 1/4 cup or 45 grams), and stir.

Add 2 cartons of tomato puree (7 oz each, 200 grams), stir gently, and let cook for 5–10 minutes. Add panela cheese to taste, black pepper, and basil.
