Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsfull fat milk powder
  2. 3 tablespoonsemolina
  3. 3 tablespoonmilk
  4. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  5. 2 tablespoonplain flour
  6. 6 tablespoonmilk
  7. 2 tablespoonghee
  8. Oil for frying
  9. 1/2 cupbiscoff spread

Steps

  1. 1

    In a small bowl add semolina and 3 tablespoon milk and mix well. Set aside
    In a large bowl add milk powder, baking soda and plain flour. Mix well. Add ghee and semolina and mix. Add 3 tablespoon of milk and mix. Add the remaining 3 tablespoon and make a soft dough. Do not over knead. Cover and set aside for 10 minutes.

    After 10 minutes make small equal size balls, ensuring no cracks are visible.
    In a wide bottom pan heat oil on low to medium heat. Deep fry until dark golden. Remove from oil and let it cool.

    Microwave biscoff spread for 20 seconds. Dip gulab jambu and put it on a round plate. Repeat for rest and sprinkle xmas stars, hundred and thousands etc.

Hi all, my name is Rekha. I am Indian by birth, born in Uganda, East Africa, I now live in Wilby, Northamptonshire/England.I retired at the age of 60 due to severe arthritis. I am married, a mother and grandmother.I learnt to cook from my parents at a very young age of seven. I started to cook simple dishes for the family and gradually learnt how to cook. My mum use to cook at our shop where we sold Indian sweets and savouries. I have learnt a lot from my mum. I started cooking fusion dishes and learning from others. My strong point is making sweet dishes and innovating new dishes. I can improvise and be creative in leftover dishes.I love being on Cookpad because I can share and learn new recipes. I have also made a lot of friends.
