Mooli Ke Parathe

Fresh mooli or radish is easily available during winters. It can be used for many different recipes and mooli ka paratha is one of them. I have used grated mooli as well as leaves to make these delicious paratha. It goes really well with a bowl of curd, pickle and some homemade butter. Mooli ke parathe can be served as breakfast or even as a meal.

  2. 2

Peel and grate mooli and mix 1/2 tsp salt to it. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Now squeeze out all the water as much as you can. Now add mool leaves, green chilli, carrom seeds, red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur, garam masala, coriander leaves and little salt to the filling and give it a good mix. We have added salt to mooli earlier so add accordingly.

  3. 3

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Now take one portion and dust it with some dry flour. Now roll it into a 4 to 5 inch circle and put some filling in the middle. Now pleat the edges and bring it in the middle to cover the filling. Now again dust it with some dry flour and roll it gently into a paratha.
