Ingredients

20 minutes
2-3 persons
  • 1 bunchpalak patta (chopped small)
  • Handfulkasuri methi
  • 1/2 cupbesan
  • 1/2 cuprice flour
  • 1onion sliced
  • As Per Taste Salt
  • 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder adjust as needed
  • 1/4th tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  • Less than a pinch baking soda
  • 1/4th tsp ajwain crushed
  • 1 tspwarm oil
  • As Required Oil for frying

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    In a mixing bowl, put besan, rice flour, salt, and turmeric powder. Mix.
    Then add chopped palak patta. Add water and mix to make a medium-thick batter. Add ginger garlic paste and mix.
    Add Kasuri methi and baking soda in the end when the oil is hot and ready!
    Don't forget to add a tsp of warm oil to the batter, it will make your pakodis crispy.

    Add crushed ajwain and garam masala to the batter and mix. Add chopped onion and red chili powder as per your taste.

    Take small portions from the batter and put them into medium to high heat oil.
    Fry till golden brown and crispy.
    Drain extra oil and serve hot with chai 🙂
