In large bowl or 13x9 pan, layer lettuce and onions

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream. Blend well

Spoon 1/2 cup of the mixture evenly over onions

Top with celery, bell peppers, peas, and tomatoes
- 5
Spread remaining mayo mixture over top
- 6
Sprinkle with cheese and bacon
- 7
Cover, refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight
