Wash and soak Basmati Rice in enough water for 20 to 25 mins. Then heat water as required in a pan. Once water starts boiling, drain excess water from basmati rice and add to the pan along with salt, lemon juice, oil, mix well and cook till rice is 80 to 85 percent cooked. Immediately transfer the cooked rice to a strainer and rinse with cold water and keep aside.

Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan or kadhai on medium flame. Add jeera, cloves, bay leaf, black peppercorns, cinnamon stick and cook for 2 to 3 mins. Add sliced onions and cook till it turns translucent. Add boiled fresh green peas and salt. Mix and cook for 2 to 3 mins.

Add raisins, cashew nuts, mix well and further cook for 3 to 4 mins. Add cooked basmati rice, dhania jeera powder. Gently mix everything very well. Further cook for 3 to 4 mins stirring occasionally. Add chopped fresh green coriander leaves, mix well and switch off the flame.

Garnish with some chopped fresh green coriander leaves, boiled fresh green peas, raisins, cashew nuts and serve hot.
