Wash the chicken breasts well, then cut them into long strips.

Mix all the marinade ingredients thoroughly. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the marinade for later.

Marinate the chicken strips in the marinade for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Heat a grill pan and brush it with oil. Add the chicken strips. Once the bottom is cooked, flip to cook the other side. When fully cooked, remove from heat.

Let the chicken cool slightly, then cut it into crosswise strips.

Prepare the cooking sauce by mixing its ingredients well. Pour the sauce into a skillet and heat until it boils. Add the chicken strips, gently stir, and let them absorb the sauce. For a smoky flavor, heat a piece of charcoal, place it in the center of the pan on a piece of aluminum foil, add a drop of oil, and cover the pan for at least 15 minutes.

Drain the chicken strips from the sauce, reserving the sauce.

To assemble the sandwiches, spread garlic sauce on the flatbread or tortilla, add chicken strips, and, if desired, add French fries, pickled cucumbers, and lettuce. Roll up the bread tightly, brush with some of the reserved sauce, grill the sandwich on the pan, then serve.
