Very popular Indian dessert. Very soft,fluffy and delicious. Let’s make the gulab jamun with khoya.
Steps

Take a khoya in a mixing bowl. Mash and make it soft.

Add wheat flour, a pinch of soda. Mix well. Add little by little milk to make a soft dough. Apply little ghee to your palm to make a soft dough.

Cover and keep it aside.

Heat the pan on low flame. Add sugar and water. Put the flame on medium. Stir occasionally.

After the sugar dissolved in water heat it for 2 to 3 minutes. Switch off the gas. Add cardamom powder and saffron.

Partially cover it and keep it aside. Now apply the little ghee to the palm and mash the dough.

Make small balls from the dough. There should be no cracks on them. If the dough is smooth gulab jamun will be smooth without cracks.

Heat the ghee on a low flame. When the ghee is medium hot. Fry the gulab jamun.

Let them fry for a while and then flip them. Keep flipping so that they can evenly fry.

As they turn dark brown. Take them out and put them in syrup. Dip in a syrup well. Cover and keep aside for 2 to 3 hours.

Delicious gulab jamun is ready to Serve.
