Spinach Quiche
This recipe is originally from my kids grandmother and we've tweaked it a bit to our liking. It makes a delicious side item or a base for a lighter meal
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cook the spinach according to package directions and let it cool slightly (enough to be able to handle it). In a large bowl toss the shredded cheeses with the flour. Then add in the milk, egg, bacon, garlic and all seasonings and mix.
- 2
Drain all excess liquid out of the spinach (I do this with a nut milk bag) and then stir the spinach into the cheese mixture. Pour it all into the frozen pie crust.
- 3
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let it sit and cool for 15 or so minutes before cutting and serving.
